Synopsis and a Welcome

Well, I don't know how you stumbled on this (that's a lie, I probably gave you the link) but welcome. This blog serves no other purpose than to host the grandest literary creation to date, simply known as 'The Stage Play: reVAMP'. For those of you in the dark, let me explain.

The Stage Play was originally conceived by myself (Kathleen) and a friend of mine who wishes to remain anonymous just in case this leads to a lawsuit (very, very possible). We began it in grade nine (we've been out of high school for almost two years to give you a rough estimate of how long this has been going on.) It was a rough time for everyone, as adolescence can be. Family stuff, medical stuff, friend stuff. We needed a way to relax, something to laugh about even if it was only funny to us. TSP was born one night over MSN when we decided to write a play about an Evil Rubix Cube. Eventually Betty (as my counterpart is known in the play) handed full control over to me, although she still acts as my guide whenever I get stumped. Some time during our high school years I decided to revisit the play and continue where it was left off, giving us TSP: Part II.

Part II still isn't complete, although it is nearing that stage. However, I made the decision some time ago to begin rewriting the play. Updating it so the humour was more mature and along the lines of my current internal monologue. That is what you will be reading today. The new play, no longer taking place in a middle school but a place of work (we're not quite sure what sort of place, but A place certainly.) In this post you'll find a brief synopsis, from there you can go on to enjoy the LIVE ACTION UPDATES of The Stage Play:reVAMP.

Synopsis:
Long, long, long, very long ago somebody somewhere decided to concentrate all the evil in the world into a tiny little object that would do nothing except frustrate those who came across it. That object became known as the Rubix Cube. However, due to said large concentration of evil, the Cube itself could not stay in one piece. Thus, it shattered 27 blocks of total evil into the inter-dimensional realms.
Present day, we find the workers of John Doe Inc rather baffled. Their Coworker Betty has claimed that she wishes them to bring her the pieces of the Cube of Evil. If they don't, bad things will happen (she's not quite sure what yet). So, reluctantly, our heroes (total self-insertion by the way) have taken up the task of retrieving the pieces of the Cube of Evil. To make things more interesting, The Evil Betty has opted to put them against her pool boy, Edjuardo. Should he get a piece of a cube before them, they will be forced to battle him for it. If they fail, more bad stuff will happen. Again, this evil plot of hers wasn't exactly well thought out.
So come with us, join Kathleen, Alex, Jessie, Cindal, Cameron, Spencer, Kelti, and many many more (Stephen Colbert, Hugh Laurie, William Shatner, Elijah Wood, Johnny Depp (please don't sue)) as they travel the many dimensions surrounding the world in search of the CUBE OF EVIL.

Kathleen
